"God is alive. He has created every one of us and he knows us all. He is so great that he has time for the little things in our lives: “Every hair of your head is numbered”. God is alive, and he needs people to serve him and bring him to others. It does makes sense to become a priest: the world needs priests, pastors, today, tomorrow and always, until the end of time." - Pope Benedict XVI
Thanks for your message (and especially for the promise of prayers you made in your last post). The gold coloured one is John Fisher and the darker one is Thomas More.
Actually, yesterday I bought another fish which I'm going to call Benedict - it's a Siamese Fighting Fish... :)
Tee hee Mac! EAS, I wonder what considerations governed your choice regarding which goldfish was which saint? I'm a novice oblate of WCCM (John Main meditation) and therefore kind of Benedictine myself. I do hope your choice of name for the Siamese fighting fish is meant as a compliment!
